Barriers for General communication
There are many barriers for general communication that can effect the communication between you and your audience. for example one barrier could be the different gestures that you use. This may offend your audience as some gestures may be seen as offensive and this will then distract your audience from receiving the information that you are trying to get across. another barrier would be the culture of your audience. This is because some of the colours, or language that you use may be offensive or your audience might not understand what you are saying. This will then make it difficult for your audience to understand the information that is being presented to them.
However to reduce the impact of these barriers you could do research on different cultures. this will them make it easier for you to know what you can and can't say or do in your presentation and this will then make it much more easier for your audience to understand what it being said. Another way to reduce the impact on these barriers is to understand different gestures. this will then make your audience more focus on what you are saying as you will understand they diffident types of gestures and that some may mean something else in different places.
