Barriers for Interpersonal Communication
There are many different barriers for interpersonal communication that will affect your communication to your audience. For example one barrier would be peoples mobile phones going off during your presentation. This will them make the rest of your audience get distracted by the noise and they will then look around for what it is and they will then miss important information. Another barrier would be your audience coming in late to your presentation, this will then make your audience get distracted and miss important information as the presentation has been interrupted due to the person being late.

To reduce the impact of these barriers your could tell people to switch their phones off before starting to present. this will then reduce the risk of a phone going off which could then distract your audience, in doing so your audience will be more engaged and get all the information that they need. Another way to reduce the impact of these barriers is to tell your audience the day before what time that your will be presenting. this will then inform your audience that you don't want them to be late and they will know what time they should be there for.
